World Read-Aloud Day is February 7

 


World Read-Aloud Day, celebrated on the first Wednesday in February, highlights "the power of reading aloud to create community and amplify new stories, and to advocate for literacy as a foundational human right," according to LitWorld, its founding organization. Lunar New Year Resources





Lunar New Year begins on February 10, 2024. Many East Asian countries celebrate this 15-day holiday, which features gifts, fireworks, dragon and lion dances and a lantern festival.
